FAQ didn't tell if Burglar Alarm could work when Breaking and Entering (For Rent).

I'm sure Nancy Landgraab would appreciate a way to protect her secrets.

yeah i get it, it is still not going to change my opinion even if respect the legacy of previous installment and the desire of the majority of simmers... it still will be a nuisance and a waste of time for me. I have already learned that there might be an opt out...

Never seen it as such personally. Rather goofy and fun. I do enjoy variety.

But good for others they added a toggle for some to not interrupt the usual suburban lifestyle of their sims though. So, good all around for both sides.

Having more crime in the game is simply delightful
and I am glad they added toggle for those times you do not want any burglars in your save
I wonder if using the lot trait still works with burglars off though
cause that would be kinda ideal for me

like being able to just pick few lots where burglars are allowed to make their moves without builder me getting grey hair 😂

Another point not mentioned in FAQ, with Get To Work can a detective arrest the burglar in detective home ?

Now this is cool. Besides NPC police, any sim in the Detective career can appear to apprehend the burglar. I have written it out in the Ultimate NPC Guide thread.
