I started world rebuilding this year but I just realized I haven't finished even one (1) world in a year oh this is gonna take a while *deep sigh*this is probably because i keep jumping between worlds and adding one or 2 houses per world instead of filling one :sweat_smile: and partly because i obsess over specific lots and keep redoing them :lol: but I think next year I should conquer the evil Newcrest first and then move to other buildshowever I have no idea what I want to build there for the world is truly uninspiring :/so if anyone has any ideas or has actually builded theirs I'm all earsand yes I welcome everyone to share their newcrest lots and world screenshots! and to join me on building newcrest full in 2021 if they have yet to do it (or want to redo it for that matter) :blush:

I tend to use Newcrest for community lots and businesses primarily, though I have started to add more residential lots there recently since I keep running out of space to house my sims LOL. I've put a handful of tiny homes there since the small lot sizes are perfect for that, and I also have a wedding garden and bridal boutique that I originally downloaded from the gallery but have edited quite a bit. Newcrest is a big jumble in my world. I have a church, a hobbit hole, midcentury modern houses, a big fancy house, and more. I just pretend the skyscrapers and cars and city stuff don't exist.

My Newcrest has a bowling alley/ lounge, a maker space, ice cream parlor & restaurants for each different type of food (experimental, asian, mexican, etc). Have a few empty lots too.

aw yeah I just feel very irritated when things dont perfectly match so I find myself really conflicted with what suits newcrest

Newcrest in my game is a more of a city part of Willow creek. It is far from finished, but I add new builds every now and then. Currently I have a fast food style restaurant, Church with a cemetery in the the north part. Then I have a more derelict part of town where I have an abandoned factory, a rundown apartment building where some of my vampires reside.

I am currently redoing Newcrest into a Mid Century Modern residential world, no community lots, all the houses in an MCM style. It's working out pretty good, I can almost ignore all of the set dressing fake houses for the most part.

I am currently redoing all the worlds in my main save also. I do build some myself but most of my stuff is from the gallery. I am not a creative person. Since I am more of a player than a builder, my homes tend to be more practical than pretty :(

Chicklet, do you contribute on the Sims Resource by any chance? I have quite a few lovely objects from an artist named Chicklet on there.
