Whilst I don't mind occult packs (I was super hyped for ROM and Paranormal), there does need to be a balance. I would find it a bit unfair to the players who wish to play more "normal" or linear gameplay (generations/farm/whatever else is highly anticipated) to have waited a few months for another pack only for it to be fairies related (or another occult), considering that we've already had Paranormal a few months ago, and the last Game Pack to be released was Star Wars. :unamused:

I'm not disputing that? I said that the last Stuff Pack we had was Paranormal and the last Game Pack we had was Star Wars (September) with just Snowy Escape inbetween, so for the player who likes to play "normal", it's been a long wait for another pack that fits their play style.

I found an article about that survey and they also talked about witches and winter vacation in the same survey. Obviously Snowy Escape came out 5 months ago and spellcasters a year before, so maybe they're going back through old surveys for content ideas? I wouldn't be surprised to see more old survey content coming to the game, they also talked about a rock star career which there's been a lot of theories about, and becoming a thief and doing heists which was mentioned a second time in last years survey. They also talked about Island Living and MFPS in the same set of surveys.

You make a fair point although I m excited to have another occult. When paranormal pack was announced the first thing I thought was that I dont want this to be the occult pack of the year. (Just a stuff pack I mean). Plus, star wars doesnt count as an occult pack. I m an occult player but I have difficulty using this one. Finally, the last occult life state we got was in 2019, two years ago.

There hasn't been a family pack since parenthood, so it is time. I hope it's not yet another occult. I am slowly using interest in TS4, we've been waiting for family gameplay so long and it's evident many people in the community want it (Generations, better babies, playable school).

I don't want to ignite a fire here, but I'd like to point out that the Sim gurus have essentially confirmed that Generations is coming at some point. They said so in the last live stream. So why not allow other types of gameplayer their portion of fun without umbrage? If it is indeed supernatural gameplay this time, which we can't currently confirm. It is the polite and civil thing to do.
