As the article on sims community mentions there have been similar leakes in the past with island living and cottage living and those turned out to be true. I think we might actually be getting a horse DLC.
It would require a lot of animations and the sims 4 is known for cutting corners when it comes to animations. But I think it will still be possible. We don't know how long this pack has been in the works. I imagine it could be like cats and dogs which also needed a lot of animations and almost all development went into the main feature with little to no side features.

I don't think it's real. Horse riding requires a ton of animations and given that there are only dust clouds instead of animations for a few activities (toddlers rummaging in counters or frienship bracelet making for example) my guess is that EA would not waste their animation team resources on a horse EP since they are busy with sims 5. I really hope i'm wrong because i liked horses in sims 3 so much.
