Well, if we do get a new desert world I really hope it's almost completely wilderness with little to no paved roads or background buildings. Just dirt paths to go riding and exploring. That way I could use it for my more 'roughing it' play throughs. Just a lone rider and their seven horses :D
I love that idea! Similar to Granite Falls or the more rural neighbourhoods of Henford-on-Bagley, but bigger, and in the desert. I know not many people are excited about another desert world, but I for one don't need yet another green world, we have enough of those. Unfortunately for me, SimMattically (if their leaks are to be believed) says there's going to be "a lot more grass and greenery" than in StrangerVille, whereas I'd rather have more rock and sand, but we'll see.
