No autosave is a game breaker for me

The game has never had an autosave. If you use mods, MC Command Center has an autosave option. Personally, I just save frequently -- the issue with that being you can't save in CAS mode.

I personally don't want an auto save.

Because sometimes something happens in the game that I don't want to happen so I can easily quit without saving and then go back to where I began.

If it auto saved I would not have that option, unless the auto save was a totally different save that didn't override the original save I started playing with.

That's the exact reason why I don't want an autosave either.

Why not let everyone get what they want for this game and they should add a toggle per save if you don't want it then turn it off? :( not everyone plays the game the same way you do :/

I would hate for one of the game breaking bugs to infect my save and then have it autosave. Rollbacks are an option because there is no autosave. If they ever did add a feature like that in I'd need it to have a toggle option.

I thought there was an option to auto save? I guess I'm going mad lol. I'd never use it anyway. As others have said, something may happen in your game or to your save that means you want to exit without saving. I've done that all the time lol.

The only "real" autosave I currently see in this game is when a Sim dies, maybe after they get married too, but I am not 100% sure. According to Simswiki, one game patch from 2017(?) removed auto-save feature from The Sims 4 permanently after issues or complaints (not sure about the exact reason).

I needed autosave a few times and was so mad when it got taken away. Why remove a feature that helps customers? It makes no sense. Oh, wait.....
