Oh, my! I keep thinking maybe I'll get Get Famous, but then something else seems to happen with it. Between prom not showing up and the everyone is a celebrity bug, I'm glad I never got that expansion.

It was causing a problem but was updated 7/29 :)

It looks like there are several different issues here, some that occur without Get Famous installed
-MCCC messes up prom (or did before a recent update of MCCC)
-Prom does not show on calendar and does not happen at all if Talent Showcase is happening
-Prom shows up on calendar but is deleted from calendar at 7pm and does not happen
-Finchwick Fairs (Cottage Living) interfere with prom

So I added the new mccc and still no prom popups ?

P. S. How do you disable a pack cause I don’t use get famous right now

The prom started at 7pm in my game but when the teens were hanging out at a friends house, everybody left early around 5pm. I didn't know what was going on and nobody was dressed for prom at the friends house. I'm not sure if they were suppose to be. I went to the auditorium and things weren't set up yet until 7pm came and the prom build started happening right before my very eyes. I was able to change my active sim character into her formal wear but her NPC prom date was in his everyday clothes still. Everybody else who came changed into their formal wear clothing. I've only played prom once yesterday, so I'm figuring out things too.

Do you have get famous? Cause I think that’s the next thing that is causing a bug in my prom part.

Prom still shows up on my calendar along with all the other events and I have Get Famous installed. At first I had everything leading up to prom but wasn't able to attend it, once I updated to the second fix for mccc it all works properly now.

So weird that I don’t have mine fixed now. There were some things that finally pop up now though. Like at first I didn’t have any of the purberty emotions show up and now they are. I don’t have the prom on the calendar but I was able to ask a sim to prom. I just think some stuff is way glitched still. I’m tired of uninstalling and reinstalling stuff to figure out what was wrong so I might just leave it for right now. Wait til my next gen is ready and figure it out cause it took me like 2 hours to figure out what was going on with my game today.

you have to re-install your game, and check off when comes time to choose which packs to install.
