I heard it has been patched that way. I used to have random vampire invasions at night. But Vlad still can take plasma off my sim. I thought it would be ok if I lock the front door. Yes it worked but instead, Vlad went through the back garden, and he started to mesmerize my sim through the wall at the backgarden.. I locked all doors at home, he was mesmerizing her standing beside her room.

I'm the one looking after many vamp sims. So far, I have 9 or 10 vamp sims as played sims except for the premade vamp sims. But it's of no use how many vamp sims I have in game. They can't block other vamps' plasma hunting. One day, Caleb Vatore was sneaking in for plasma hunting. There were 2 grand master vampires and one human spouse at home. Caleb got into the human sim's bedroom, and my vamp sims didn't do anything...no..actually, they didn't feel any danger even though Caleb is trying to bite the neck of my vamp sim's spouse. He and his vamp son didn't give any attention to Caleb. I had to reset my human sim to protect him from Caleb. Since that time, my human sim has to be bitten by her vamp spouse every night for being protected. Because my human sim gets the red moodlet,'recently bitten' and it protects her for 12 hrs from other vampires. But now I currently only have one human sim at home lot. I cannot ask his vamp friend sims bite for protection either. So I have 2 options to protect my human sim, disallow vampires or reset sim while random vamp sim is about to bite him.
