Official Countdown Thread To The High School Years Livestream (Now Out)!!!!

- Hoping we can mod the voting for king/queen and jester for the prom away. Or that it will not show up if we do not put that voting-item in the lot.

I am very surprised by how in-depth this pack is and it looks like all of it works without a issues. High School seems nice and simple and more of a social thing

I’m glad everything seemed to work well during the stream in the pack. I cannot wait to get this pack!!

I can only watch the stream now, so maybe that has already been answered but:
1. At around 38:00 when they talk about there being a fishing spot around the pier they zoom in and there were two glowing eyes under it. Was that just a reflection I mistook or is there something more behind it
2. When they talked about being an influencer the career panel showed reaching level 2 in the entrepreneur skill. Will they talk about this skill more and will older careers be updated for it because it would fit perfectly to Business.

Well, I am glad you don't have to have hair growth. I know a lot of people love the idea but I spend literal hours perfecting the look of my Sims, I don't want to have to account for body hair too. It's annoying enough you have to work out constantly to keep body tone.

The pack seems shallow in some areas: active classes seem to be very barebones and lack the opportunities I was hoping for, like pulling pranks, sneaking notes, causing a scene or participating in work outside of taking notes. After-school activities and jobs are basic and shallow. You have some fun new experiences and active high school is neat, but you're overall just getting an enhanced experience of what we can already do in-game.

That said, I love all the side things we can do. We got Urban myths, teen-only Aspirations, the stuff at the pier, T-Pose Challenge, pranks, locker customization, Social Bunny, Trendi, shaving, and so many more experiences that aren't directly related to the pack's overall theme, but still fit the theme and enhance it. I love having all these little side things, it feels very Sims 3.

If they added the ability to make schools in other neighborhood (complete with a uniform option and the ability to select your own staff), OR fleshed out the clubs a lot more, then it'd be an insta-buy. Right now though, I'll probably wait until we get a sale. But on the plus side, this is a pack I want to get at some point.

Sadly the glowing red eyes don't do anything and are just decor. The vampire pack has them in Forgotten Hollow and I think they are in other places too such as Sylvan Glade.

Well there are no new radio stations in High School Years! And now, I'll never get my R&B radio station back ever again. Looks like 2022 of the early 2020s will be over with more kits and no EPs, SPs in the next and final roadmap of The Sims 4 until my career will be over as soon as I'm no longer wanna talk about radio stations again

There is a new Carnival Beat Radio Station. I saw it in one of the Fantayzia's World Overview and you hear it at the carnival lot on the pier.
