I don't feel comfortable with someone trying to give their very personal opinon on a piece of clothing that is clearly aimed to be inclusive for a certain culture (currently very underrepresented in the game) more weight by imposing an extremely weird and unfitting connotation upon it. Especially after EA have been working with actual designers for the culture they wanted to represent this time. Nothing wrong with saying you'd have liked it better without the belt, but there's a line.

There is certainly a reason for EA staff posting here to state that it's not a chastity belt while they'll normally hardly comment here - and it's not a good one.
