Okay, Here's My Dilemma . . .

I renovated Erik's very first house --- the one that was owned by my Grand Uncle and his wife. I loved that house, but it's now been torn down, which really piqued me. Laying that aside, I gave myself permission to make some serious changes to it, at least the ground floor. I'm very happy with it, but have not played it, yet.  My idea was this is where Erik and Kayleigh would live after they got married.

However, things in the storyline ran roughshod right over me. LOL

It does seem a king cannot really rule the country, if he's not living in it. For instance, not all of the nobles would bother showing up for Court in another world. (Confirming my decision to have King Emeritus Joseph abdicate.) 

So, being that there is only the one 64 X 64 lot size in all of Ondarion, I either have to replace Castle Cantrell with Cantrell By-the-Sea or place it on a much smaller lot. But then, there are precious few available lots in Ondarion. Which makes it all the more problematic.

OR: I could place Nobles in the World of choice, but then again, they would lose their ties to each other, too.

So now, I'm stuck, once again. The 'Sea' is calling me big time.

If any of you paid attention, the kitchen was a lot smaller, since at one end was the downstairs bathroom. That's the way the original RL house was. I got inspired by a room I saw in some TV commercial and decided to try to duplicate it. As you can see the kitchen is now a lot larger, and the bathroom was behind that barrier. Also, now you really do have to go through the dining room to get the kitchen. The royal staircase won't allow passage to another door, which used to be there. Oh, well.

I also remade the basement. Instead of having the staircase crowding the laundry room, I put it in the foyer.

So, what would you do if you were sitting on the same horn of dilemma? Move, replace or what?
