You could make key saves at certain points in your Cantrell story and do Save As to keep for any restarts, test games or recoveries so you wouldn't have to recreate everything from scratch. Give them descriptive names so you can identify the time frame: Baby Erik, High School, Wedding Day...You get the idea. It would give you endless do over options.
Keep copies of these key saves somewhere else too so you can recover them if you ever have computer issues too.
