One thing I don't understand about Sims

When you start the game, and play a household, you have sims coming over at random times.  Being the polite Sim you are you greet them (after all there's no pew pews, unalivings, trafficking, etc...it's relatively safe save for the burglar.), you talk to them for a few moments, if you're a spell caster you turn them into a statue of a rabbit...normal stuff.

Well, after one meeting they call you with questions about their love life, who should they date, should they change their jobs.  Like, you brought me a fruitcake, ate my food, and said goodbye.  NOW you want me to consult you on your love life.  I don't even know your name.  I don't really care for you, but suddenly you want advice about who you should date.  Okay, needy much.

I have Claus Vladius (or whatever his name is) calling me up in the middle of the day asking me if he should go out with someone.  Like, dude, the first text you sent me told me how nice my neck looked.  The only reason I let you into the house the first time was because my watcher accidentally clicked on invite in, instead of beat it butthead.

That

Or after one meeting "Hey, there's trouble at home, can my entire family stay with you for a few days (free of charge while we eat your food, mess up your home, and destroy everything)..." BTW, don't let Thomas Watson and his family into your house to stay...they will destroy the place.  I just let you into my house the first time because you brought food

I can't remember which Sims it was, but they cleaned up, did laundry, all of that. It was like having a free maid service available 24-7

You are not here to play the game, the game is here to play you! "Don't you want free earbuds?" x)

  • Sorry, but Sims 4 game totally plays itself.  However, if you're concerned with that, you can always turn off/disable everything in Game Option Menu.  Otherwise your sims will run amuck.  Lol

Starting with Autonomy: On or Off...

Autonomy gets turned off for storyline pictures, weddings, birthday parties...Just about anything you try to plan in the game.

I usually play with it on full when I'm relaxing and feel like watching my sims live their lives.

You can capture the best pics in game when you let your sims live and thrive with autonomy at full.
