I'd like an open neighborhood verses an open world so that the game could focus upon a particular area at a time verses an entire one.
I think it would be a waste of the game engine's resources, especially if my main sim is only in a particular region at that moment.
I am hoping one day, to play a sim, probably a teenage boy who happens to enjoy watching his crush, who lives next door, moving about their house on automation and seeing a neighborhood come alive with people mowing their lawns and visiting one another w/o loading screens.
A nightlife scene with a couple sitting outside at a beach and their kids can run about a nearby shopping strip mall to various stores on separate lots that are simultaneously running. Right now it's done with vendors but to me, it's not quite the same.
