I've only seen these on social media, not in the game yet, but I am glad to have the update. I like the building items and new foods.
Recently, I've been playing GF/actor sims so I'm not yet where I will use this but I have LatinX households that will appreciate these items along with other sims. This will also make Selvadorada more interesting because other households can learn these recipes and bring them back with them.
