Options with Toddler when both parents are working?

Are there options with toddlers while both parents need to go to work? I'm still fairly inexperienced with toddlers but; in the past I have had them swap off and resorted to taking vacation days wher...

The other option you could use, is to create a Nanny and place her in your household. That way you can play both the Nanny and the toddler! Toddler can ask for what they need and Nanny can cook food. I used to do this in both Sims2 & 3.
