Pants Length, Long Or Short?

I need more long trousers and jeans for my male sims. It's so weird we have so few since it's mostly what I see men wearing in real life. I am especially desperate for some nice classic jeans for men. I am always stuck using the same base game jeans for my sim since the other options are either too short or baggy for him. It's really frustrating, particularly as we tend to get far less content for masculine sims in CAS.

I haven't missed any kind of pants, I think.

The trick is, while I want more ankle length pants, especially for masculine Frame sims, I think there's a technical issue with it, because it's a trend I also see a lot in Daz Studio assets - though since Sims uses Geometry switching, it shouldn't be as bad.

I tend to use the match socks to shoe/pant color trick a lot, especially on formal wear.

These kind of short pants look best without socks. But if you pair them with boots, you don't really notice how short they are. What's bothering me though is that these short pants are usually slim fit and they don't flatter sims with larger bodies.

Long pants below the ankle something this game desperately needs as someone else mentioned we need some that are not baggy not that I don't want more that are also baggy but just in better styles.

I am so tired of the high water pants in the game for males and females.

I don't care for the slightly cropped look at all for pants. I think it looks nerdy and so I usually only use the longest pants that actually look nice on the male sims.

There are a lot of choices for shorter style (above the ankle, and cropped) pants at this point, but very few for longer (below the ankle) ones. I just want some more options so I don't keep using the same pair of jeans over and over.

It's different for every Sim. Although I have my own personal style preferences, my Sims' outfits are a little more eclectic.
