I have spent a lot of time arranging a double wedding for my sims, everything was going fine, all the arrangements were made, It was time for the big day, and then all the guests showed up with bags on their heads. All my planning for a beautiful wedding. Perfect, so funny I was sad at first and then I realized how perfect it was. I couldn't have planned a better wedding.
Sometimes I add the bridal party to the household, so I can control them. Doesn't always work, though. Sniff, sniff.

I wish I would have gotten a picture when they first all arrived and sat. I was just in shock and was thinking 'how can I fix this'? then I decided it was too funny to do anything about and just go with it . It is the sims, after all. They never do what is planned. 🤣

The only disadvantage might be how difficult it will be to spot Aunt Augusta on that big group photo...

I planned a perfect wedding once. It was a lot of fun. I left nothing by chance. I occasionally enjoy some micromanaging. I gave every guest a special formal outfit for the occasion. When they arrived, I used mccc to let them wear the outfit I picked.
Lol. I'm glad you could see the funny side - personally I'd have probably been somewhat miffed. But at least nobody looked anywhere near as good as the bride and groom. They could have all sat down and paid attention though - but maybe they forgot to cut holes in their bags and were just stumbling around blindly.
It is a great wedding photo! 🙂 It was not what you expected the guests to be wearing though, but the wedding would have been unique!
