1. Replace whims with wants and fears. This can be tied to traits, current emotion, sentiments and more. Aspiration like bar should also make a comeback. If sims have a low bar then they may automatically do certain actions like worry, throw a tantrum, etc. they would also occasionally get buffs that give negative emotions (sad, tense, etc) and negative sentiments
2. Emotions should have a bigger impact on sims actions. Angry sims should use mean interactions more with other sims, as well as not accept jokes (unless your sim has certain traits like goofball) sad sims should interact less with others automatically, etc.
3. Get rid of idle chat which is pointless.
4. Bring chemistry system that takes traits current friend ship level and more into consideration
5. Traits should impact sims more and not just add emotional buffs. For example mean sims should heckle sims they pass by if they are playing an instrument badly. Evils sims should try to cheat at games like chess.
6. Sims should react more to others around them. In sims 2 they would react to sims fighting, worry if a sim passed out, children would cry if parents were fighting, etc.
