Question

I read that dogs can swim in the ocean, which I am incredibly glad for and can't wait to see in action, but does anyone know if cats can interact with the water in any way? Can they watch the fish or try and hunt them in any way, like they can with the mice from CL?

i honestly doubt cats would be able to interact with the water. i don't know for sure if they can or not, but to me, it just doesn't seem like a feature the developing team would add. i could be wrong, though.

Some cats do like water, so it would be cool if it was like a hidden trait that some cats would interact with it and some cats wouldn't.

I tested using the controllable pets mod, and my cat couldn't even wade through water. Only non-hydrophobic dogs (big and small) can enter

I doubt it as most cats hate water, so it's probably focused more on dogs instead.
