Pets: Community Lots
The Pet's expansion is great & the Dogs & Cats are adorable <3 As far as community lots (without a dog/cat trait), they just continue to show up, walking into clubs, across dance floors, gyms, etc...

You all know there are rugs in the catalog that are for keeping pets out. Go into build mode and add a rug(s) to the entrance(s) and the cats and dogs should stay out.
@Dannydanbo I did find them much much later & wondered if that was the purpose of the rugs. I plan on placing them to see if that is the case. Thank you for sharing this.
