So do you buy things like games, books, movies because you expect the author/ copyright owner of those things to give you something for free? Becasue I buy them to have fun with them and I get my money’s worth through that.
The Kit is a good will of the developer. They could not do that, they decided they will. More than that, every big free update gives us new options for base games including gameplay ones. Nobody owns players anything despite many trying to claim otherwise. You buy a product because you want and many people (myself included) got much more than 40-60 dollars worth from eight years of playing. I bought almost all of the packs minus two expansions and I also feel I got from game more than I paid (and this is much more than 60 dollars).
Game is far from unplayable and bugs that do exist at this point aren’t critical. For vanilla game at least. Many game breaking HSY bugs (minus aging which was fixed) were actually connected to people using mods.
