Agreed, it would be great if we could flag items we aren't planning to use, particularly CAS ones, into a separate category, so they never appear in a particular save. Plus, it might also cut down on the horrible random outfits assigned to NPCs.

I remember thinking that a filter of this nature would be great in Sims 3, because CAS got slower and slower due to the sheer volume of content that had to be loaded.
