Personally I think there should be toggles to select parts of expansion to load when you are installing the game from origin
example:
Download CAS Items
Download BUILD Items
Download BUY Items
Download Game Play Items
Download All
You could then select the ones you want to include and it be exactly that simple way to have less things installed
also in case of free updates they could just make it a free pack like ''updates'' and you could toggle that then
still kind of vague tho but at the same time I don't want to go back to ts3 store thing because it was most of the time ridiculously priced and complex
