Please fix the overdone watching celebrities dance mess

AGAIN, I always have to ask, does anyone play test? Almost immediately I could see that having everyone drop what they're doing just to go over and watch some minor celebrity dance was going to be a pain, and something I was going to have to try and work around. First of all, it makes it almost impossible for your sim to talk or interact with any of the watchers, so why even go to a night spot? Second, if your sim is the dancing celebrity, they can't even get anyone else to dance with them; now what adoring fan wouldn't rush to dance with their favorite star if asked? Third, it even happens on residential lots, and with regular stereos, so you don't dare have a stereo if you have celebrity friends. And fourth, to make matters worse, pretty sure it sometimes causes a bug where your sim's head is constantly turned, looking towards an invisible point long after the celebrity is gone (which is only fixed by leaving the lot). All in all, if you want to play with celebrities and still be able to use any kind of stereo, well, you can't, unless you just want to watch one celebrity dance while the other sims on the lot act like idiots. So sick of every expansion breaking one or more objects because of poor gameplay programming choices.
  • Thankfully, there is a mod fix after all (yay modders, slayers of bad programming everywhere). You can find it and a couple of other useful tweaks here:

  • I have to say this is rather annoying. I send my sim to a Talent Showcase to get some recognition, and Brytini Cho decides she wants to dance during my turn on the mic. Nobody watched me, so my first song was titled "Brytini Cho Sucks" and it went straight to the top of the charts and earned me an award. Apparently other sims are also annoyed by her obnoxious, selfish behavior. *grins*
  • They do like this "hype" dance with their arms out to the sides and bouncing around. The whole animation just screams "HEY LOOK AT ME!!" and most sims nearby usually do. Really obnoxious!

EDIT: I should add, Brytini Cho and both of theThornes (all proper celebrities((4-star)) are the worst. Judith Ward (global superstar((5-star)) just mostly stands and looks at mirrors, and people flock into the bathroom to stare at her. B-listers are generally not very bad about it, but occasionally they will. 1 and 2 star celebs don't appear to do it at all in my game.
  • I know!
This is one of the worst things.

I was on a date at the Lounge, and Holly Alto came in and started dancing.
So my Sim's date cancels out of the conversation, stands up, and goes to just look at Holly dancing.
My Sim literally couldn't get them to come back and chat, like the date's interaction to "Watch" wouldn't cancel so my Sim could get back to talking.

Since deleting the speakers caused the lot to be labeled as incomplete, I ended up having to wall off any speakers.
Now no one can dance. I'm not happy with this solution, but at least my Sim's date stopped watching Holly dance.

That "hype dance" is the "Incite Cheers" interaction.
It's definitely also annoying, but it's actually separate from what they're talking about here.

    This is actually Dance.
Whenever a Celebrity "performs", it forces Sims to come over and watch them.
It happens a lot on Lots with Microphones, Instruments, and Karaoke Machines when Celebs use them to Tell Jokes, Play Music, and Sing, but dancing also seems to count as a watchable performance, if it's a Celeb that's doing the dancing.
Which makes even stereos an offender.

The way companies like Games Workshop (and other companies in miniatures games) who put out the Warhammer 40K and Necromunda games (including the video games for the Warhammer franchise) do playtest is to recruit from their forums ask real players to play their game find the problems and break the game. That way the company knows if they need to push back a release to fix problems in balancing the game or fix bugs that occur in the game that the average player will encounter. I believe they get someone in accounting to playtest the game.

I don't mind the craziness that happens around my celebrity sim at all. I am running a test game to find what I like about Get Famous and Seasons. So far it's nothing unplayable like constant crashes, constant freezes, fragmented graphics.

if the developers aren't gonna fix this crud, has anyone made a mod yet to fix this nonsense? i miss the fun danceparties at the nightclubs -.- now it is just one celeb dancing and everyone else standing around the celeb like braindead plum all the time and it is getting very aggrevating to the point of me uninstalling GF. a 5 star celeb would make some sense but now they act like this on a 2 star celeb, including bigger celebrities :/ the reactions to celebrity system of ts 3 was way better imo. now they treat a 2 star the same as a 5 star which makes no sense and apart from the...well...kinda worthwhile perks (the career tree is great, but the other perks are mehh imo xcept for the one where all your vids are trending and others copy your outfits ;p that is cool when you have a hotdog or raccoon suit as one outfit ^_^) there is just no point to go beyond 2 star celebrity, in fact: less quirks no annoying walk or glitter and all the fan worship you'd have as a 5 star anyways and most importantly those paparazzi pests will leave you alone thus making 2 star ideal, unless you want the higher perks ofc, but mehh little gain from those if you're rich and on top of your career anyways. enough cash flow to be generated with royalties ;) who cares about double pay.

I posted a link earlier in the thread for fixes
