We are getting a teapot in Cottage Living. As the world is inspired by UK and they are known for drinking tea, hope this pot is finally functional.
I drink coffee. :D
I still hope the pot is functional to brew not just tea, but coffee also.
Brewing tea in a pot that has been even close to coffee?!!! No, just no!
You can end up with a teafee - just yech
:D
My sims wash their pots between uses.
You should have a proper teapot for tea and it doesn't need to be washed out, just rinsed out with water. It adds to the taste of the tea! Using a teapot though and pouring it into a mug or cup means less staining of them afterwards and you can usually get an extra cup out of it. I've had tea in cafés that tastes as if the teapots used have just come out of the dishwasher and the tea tastes horrible.
Sorry, can't resist it - Top tip - to clean your mugs of tea stains - wash as normal, fill with water and drop in a denture tablet. Leave for a bit and then rinse well - pristine mug.
