Please revamp the whims!!

I wouldn't want sims 2 style wants and fears back at all.. not if it meant your sim was going to go into aspiration failure at least. To me playing the game like that forced you to do what the game wanted you to do. I had to mod in extra wants and needs to keep my sims in a gold to plat aspiration area... because at that time at least I was all about keeping my played sims happy. Unchecked wants and needs didn't turn over until the next day if you didn't complete them if I remember correctly and sometimes I didn't want to do any of those things that rolled. I wanted my sims to do things I wanted them to do rather than what the game basically dictated they do.
I do agree with some here in that it would be better if they reflected more closely to that particular sims traits first.. then aspirations. It would also be great if you didn't get whims that you had already completed .. or didn't make sense at all for your sim. Mostly though I'm just happy I can play my sims my way so the whim system is just ... fluff for me now. Sometimes used but mostly ignored. I hit the x button now and then just to see what will pop up.
