I WIN. I feel like I guessed right and I don't even know for sure. I wondered what it was that made Eco-Living Expansion Material and it seems to be world-wide pollution.
To be honest you can't blame the Devs for wanting to show off the new world in the first trailer. Seasons didn't come with a new world so there couldn't be any confusion there.
And as for Strangerville, well what's going on there is awful enough without adding pollution. Maybe they've put down a quarantine that has resulted in a mass-lowering of pollution? I suppose it's the storyline that causes it.
Not every EP had new lifestates. I expect they'll come in their own packs.
