Polyjuice potion

The spell to duplicate your self is nice, but why couldn't they have taken the extra step of allowing you to duplicate any Sim? This question is directed to the modders, Is it possible to mod the game to modify this spell to do that? Even better would it be possible to add a potion that would do that.?
