Positive Gameplay Experiences

Lately I have been seeing a lot of negative feedback for TS4 and it's just...idk, I want to hear the positive stuff, not just the negative ones. So I was wondering does anybody have any positive gameplay that they would like to share? Anything interesting happen in your game lately? I'd love to know!

All my Sims 4 experiences have been positive, except the annoyances that have been caused by bugs in the game. I recently had a lot of fun with the acting career with my mean Sim. She harassed everyone in the studio and made them angry. :D >:)

one of my sims did not a really good degree at uni so she felt sad and my other sim comforted her I thought it was really sweet
  • My games are usually interesting :D My latest one is pretty fun.

I started this game with 8 Uni students and the idea is to gradually add sims and lots as I go along. I've got about two sim-years into this game and I'm working with my third batch of 8 students.

Now, one of my students, Richard, has started dating my actress, Rebecca. They met at the romance festival and really hit it off. However, now Richard's at Uni, he's fallen for one of his dormmates, Tina. Rebecca visits him at the dorm so when Tina's at class, he spends time with Rebecca. While Rebecca's not around, he's flirting with Tina. So far, neither woman knows about the other.

In the same dorm, another sim of mine, Raúl, met with my local singer, Hayley, when they were both at a party at the Ruins in Windenburg. Obviously he must had flirted autonomously with her somewhere along the line because they've got a small romance relationship bar. Raúl also put in several whims to ask Hayley to be his girlfriend, kiss her, woohoo etc. In short, he seems pretty crazy about her. Sadly, she's already dating a local actor, Jack. However, Hayley asked Raúl out to dinner one evening and the two are now 'dating'. Love Day came around and I spotted the option for Raúl to send a forged break up letter to Jack. He does that but unfortunately for him, he got busted:

So that put the dampener on that. :D

I remembered the moment I tried again with retail stores and being surprised how fast did the check out become. If I'd get a perk to speed it up, I imagine that one tap to the tablet and check out is complete.
One thing I like about The Sims 4 is that if you sell the retail store, it will still work like it's owned. Plus I like how restaurants can be customized without having a sim own it.

I also like how sims react to holidays differently depending on their age and traits. It's awesome to see how sims get a moodlet before holidays showing that they're looking forward to it. Like children being excited for presents or romantic sims being excited for a romantic holiday.
  • @EgonVM thank you for mentioning that after selling a retail store it keeps working as if it was still owned. I had no idea and i find this great!

Really ? I should try it out again. But what bugs me most is the slow decision of the clients. I get it you need to think hard about buying an expansive piano but the sims take the same amount of time to considering buying a $2000 piano and a piece of $10 cake. That means retail shop selling cakes is completely unprofitable. Meh.

Sorry this is a positive thread so something positive something positive .... the new blue loading screen is kind of nice :) lol
