I think it depends on your play style. Also what I do is check the car and build/buy items and compare to see which ones I want the most.
I have Dine Out but not the others. I wanted restaurants in my game so my sims would have more activities to do. It is a bit buggy but nice.
I have Laundry Day, I really like the items, the laundry makes the game more realistic but it gets annoying at times.
