After reading about so many people feeling lost without their old identity, or finding old friends, having only recognised them before by their avatar, I thought maybe we should have an avatar thread to identify each other, or to make yourself feel more at home again. (also with any old username)

I was lori171957 after I lost my name moving forums, now I have my old name back from Sims 2 forums. The pic was also used in Sims 2.

My old forum avatar, or as close to it as I could reproduce. I think I used the old forum's ability to zoom/crop from image.
Wow!!! Still disbelieve I manage find out my old icon. Sul Sul, all players, the icon you see is the sim randomly generated by the game. A cozy looking person I say, compare to later cringe sims by later version patch. No change till now.
Hi! I’m MsMay25, this is my second old avatar after the sims 4 base game release. I been using it for a long time before the transfer the new forum. My old forum name was “MsMay”. My first avatar was my female sim from the sims 3 era. So I’ve been around sometime on the old forum before the sims 3 base game came out.
Great thread! I was going to post my old avatar and an explanation for both it and my name, took me about 20 minutes to write everything down and get the pictures in the right positions. Then I clicked "Reply", and the entire post just ... disappeared. It showed up as a saved draft when I tried to post again, but then a pop-up told me I had already posted too many times (even though nothing was actually posted), and should try again later.
Not the first time this has happened to me, but definitely the last. This new forum is a perfect representation of TS4 because it's just as much of a burning train wreck that was released to the public before it was ready. I hope the players still willing to put up with it get the features they need in the near future, but I've decided that playing test subject for yet another faulty EA product is not what I want to do with my free time. Good-bye.

I don't think many of us were very happy two weeks ago. But I feel most of us have come to terms with the fact it's still early days, and are getting along and making the most of it while everything is being sorted out.

I'm WhatCobblers. Kept the same username as the old forums (and also the Gallery) because it was just easier to remember.

This is my merman, Ikkanu, and one of his ghostly friends (he lives on a haunted island). Most of my recent avatars have been of him because he's my favourite sim to play and imagine stories for.
It's nice to see some familiar faces. I like the appearance of the new forums but am finding the layout, navigation and categorisation a bit of a pain (really miss having more detailed subcategory lists but will moan about that on another thread).
Also really missing the customisation element of adding your own personal style in avatars and signatures. Hopefully we will be able to play 'caption the avatar above' again someday.
I love this one. That face says a lot about the forums! 🙂

😆 Yes I think they do, particularly the discovery that none of my story pictures have moved over from the old forum and I can't make my own avatar any more!

I used to be just Kimmer on the old forums. I was forced to add random letters (or numbers) on my name here because it was already taken (thanks EA 🤬). 🙄
I don't like this forum, because I can't find anything here. Everything is too complicated and we can't even have our own avatars. I just visit here sometimes nowadays quickly. I do miss the old forum, it was so easy. This forum feels almost like we've gone back in time when computers were not functioning the same way than today.
The last one I used. Generic and mostly meaningless. I just liked that wall decoration and plant.
