Potential return of Wants and Fears in High School Years

People on Twitter are running with this caption on an official Sims Instagram post. It explicitly says wants & fears. What do you think? If this is not the case, I highly urge a clarification by a Sim...

I'm going to assume Kevin being afraid of the dark will mean he'd be afraid of going into the haunted house ride at the carnival. Kevin should be able to conquer his fears. That mean the fear icon should change like the Whims system during gameplay once completed.
