Preset Seasonal Home Decorations?

I don't think this is known at this point. However, it should be noted that in The Sims 3 Seasons this was possible with a festival lot marker they made for the parks in-game. However, because The Sims 3 was open world and it's intensive on the game to use it too much, they hid it behind cheats. I still use it for some of my lots, though. lol

My point is, in TS3 it was possible. They're really hinting at it here, and it might actually be something without cheats this time. However, we just don't know at this point.

It would be even better if the season settings saved themselves to the gallery so if you put your house or build up, it would automatically decorate per season.

I have not heard anything definite, but it does look like it from the trailer - the one lot of decorations seems to fade out and the winter ones fade in. If so, I just hope it is not as buggy as the festivals in CL, where you end up with all sorts of stuff overlapping!

It sure is. The lot marker was a genius invention. :)

Players could set some objects and attractions on a lot to be common, foundation objects that remained throughout the Sim year. Then we could decorate the rest of the lot according to each season. We could even rename the festival lot, according to season.

It takes some work, in the beginning. But after you're done and the lot is exactly the way that you want it, you just get to sit back and enjoy the changes that occur every season, without lifting another finger. It's truly a brilliant piece of design.

I hope that something similar is available this time around. It would be nice to customize automatic seasonal changes again.
