Probably shouldn’t have done that. (with Update)

I have a couple with a toddler who are very much in love. Put the toddler down one Sim evening and actually got to sit at the table and eat dinner together. Well, one thing kinda led to another and since the tot was so conveniently fast asleep (even had one of them tuck her in again, to sort of check) ...

Now they are/she is pregnant with number two! :D They didn’t Try for Baby; but I have MCCC (+). The chances are only supposed to be 10% and there are no ley lines or fertility rewards.

It’s kinda cool, and they seem happy (based on moodlets, she woke him up in the middle of the night to Share Big News).
At the same time, I can only really micro manage three Sims, four max and a toddler kinda counts as more difficult than a single adult Sim. Hence the subject heading, I probably shouldn’t have done that.

Share your D’Oh or Oops moments!
  • One of my biggest Oops moments also involved the MCCC mod. There is a setting that involves the number of babies born. I misunderstood what it was telling me. I was thinking that I was setting it to allow only two births over the course of a sim's life. But what I had actually set was the number of babies allowed during a single pregnancy. What I ended up doing was actually doing away with single births but allowing only twin births, and before I knew it my game save was totally overrun by baby sims. Oh and by the way I had culling disabled in my game.

Wow @LaBlue0314. One at a time is bad enough. I wouldn’t manage if she’d had twins and was pregnant again (with two more :o )
Also, I have an abundance of randomly generated Sims, I can barely imagine if they started having bunches of MCCC babies!

Haha, I did literally the same thing in my game. I thought MCCC was saying how many kids max in a household, not at the same time, so everybody was having like 4-6 kids each birth, lol.

UPDATE: I found out on another thread that I can pause the pregnancy, allowing me to rotate to another household (per my schedule).

When I went into MCCC to pause the pregnancy, it shows the statistics. She is pregnant with twin boys!! :o
I don’t know whether to accept the challenge (and have three preschoolers for some time) or alter the pregnancy to just one. It seems sad to adjust now that I “know” there are two babies. :| Their house probably isn’t quite big enough (two bedroom) and their income not super high...
  • I've micromanage 7 tots at a time no problem. You can do it! Tips... Potty train to lvl 2 asap so they can use it on their own and don't get stinky diapers and bad hygiene so quick and raise thinking asap by having them watch other sims or each other so they stop having nightmares and so many tantrums. Also the pause button is your friend
