Question about "bring out cake"
Is it correct the Sims must have a meal at a restaurant before ordering a cake? I just tried to order a cake after just requesting a table and it did not work. I have ordered many cakes after meals......

I will & let you know. In the meantime I think there was something quirky on the lot. After the cake test I went back to more remodeling (I never quit) and things were not working right - objects would not release - undo would not work - lots of problems - so I bulldozed the lot and repaired the game and put the original Hogan's back on the lot - things seem to be ok now.
