So if you are caught on camera by the paparazzi ... does your spouse/ significant other know right away or what happens? So if you are Bill Clinton and get 'caught with your pants down' in public ... LOL ... should not your spouse know about this ... will it cause problems? Did they implement this wonderful way to get caught? This would be the best. It is hard to manipulate this casually in story lines now. It would be perfect if they included this in the pack. Does anyone know?

I hope so. They only spent about 5 minutes talking about reputation during the stream. I would have liked to have learned more about what exactly will give you a negative reputation in the game. They did say that sim's won't be subject to " arbitrary moral judgements," but said it was more like the golden rule, do unto others. So, I would assume if someone was caught cheating on their partner, they'd be breaking the golden rule. I really do hope that paparrazi can catch you cheating, and that your spouse will find out. Maybe the spouse will get a text message from someone telling them?

That's a good question. I hope they thought of that.

I really wanted to know more about reputation too. Cheating better lower it or what is the point? A big issue with this game is that there are NO CONSEQUENCES to actions! This is the chance to make a fully fleshed system where it matters whether another sim sees you do something wrong. I really hope this system isn't half-baked.

I kind of hope also... I want my sims to get caught cheating by paparazzi … the spouse knows about what happen...it would be funny.. it would be more of a challenge not getting caught...

Agreed! I know they want to cater to everyone who might have different ideas about relationships, but not having consequences for cheating would be ridiculous. I wouldn't buy it either. Half of the time I'm playing the Sims, my characters are having steamy affairs haha. I hope they did it correctly this time!

Same! Currently it’s a little bizarre to have your boyfriend’s wife congratulate you on landing her husband as a new boyfriend and even more so when she texts you to welcome your first baby with him.

If that doesn’t change, I will not be happy. I’m a little concerned that we don’t have a straight answer to this a week from launch. Usually silence or avoiding giving a straight answer is not good news.

Agreed that needs to change. It seems more like a bug though.
