Taking a starving kid out of the high chair and away from the food.
Vampires with withered stomaches eating even though it's going to make them sick.
And somewhat more generally, the fact that keys and locks are completely unrelated. Keys and locks are completely unrelated. What would possibly make it seem like a good idea to introduce keys and make them utterly unrelated to locks?! Why why WHY?!
