Raising Foundation Height

I am unable to raise or lower foundation in the Sims 4. You used to just click on the foundation button and use the slider that was beside it. That slider is not there anymore. Did it move? Is my game broken? Unsure of what to do here.

I've looked through the above comments while having this particular issue - there are NO white lines for anything to do with foundations or rooms. I'm STUMPED.

    Hello @raspberries25
    This link may help
    https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/11/foundation-sliders-have-gone-missing/
  • When you click a room of the house there's a double headed arrow with a cube going through it in the center of the room. You move that up or down to raise or lower the foundation.
  • Thanks so much. Unsure of why they needed to change where it was, unless it makes it easier for split levels.
  • @sweetie3066, they changed how foundations work, you can now have different levels for different buildings on the lot, or even different rooms. Putting it in the room selection just made sense to be consistent with the rest of the interface. Having it where it used to be would be weird and not intuitive when it is no longer a global thing.

  • Click on a wall to make all the edit options pop up then click on the cube with up and down arrows on it. Pull it up or down depending which way you want your foundation, higher or smaller. I only just figured this out myself a few days ago.

How do you change the level of individual rooms? When they connect and you try to change one it also amends the other ones
