Re: Do you normally create a version of your own family?

All of my Sims households start the exact same, with myself and my partner. I like seeing what kind of hijinks our virtual selves get up to, and it's fun putting us in situations where we can't (easily) be normally. How would we fare in a place like Mt. Komorebi? What would happen if we lived the dream and adopted an army of cats? It's a nice, fun way for me to immediately get invested in a Sims game.

(That and I can send them pictures of their simself being weird and say "It's you!")

@EA_QueenBee Yes and no. I spent most time creating cast from the Big Bang Theory more than anything lol.

@Midevil_Chaos and @EA_QueenBee , I have made the family that I grew up with, as well as my husband and myself, for every version of the Sims except TS4! 😅 I am not very good at making real people's faces so I keep putting it off. 😳 I did make my childhood home in TS4, though! (It's on the Gallery). And I made my husband's and my first Pug who passed away shortly after Cats & Dogs came out!😭🥰 (Well, it was loosely based on him, since I was too distraught to recreate his face markings and shading exactly , and just have never gotten around to perfecting it. ) I really need to make the 2 Pugs I have now! 💖

@Midevil_Chaos , Yes, I really need to make both my childhood family and my husband and all our Pugs for the Sims 4. I'm better at picking out personality traits and clothing/hair for real people than I am at recreating real faces. But once I"m done, then I can see what trouble my family gets into!😜😅 Thanks for reminding me! 😎

Aww, I'm sorry for the loss of your sweet pet, I know how hard it is. 😥 I can't make a sim dog that looks anything like my dog though, not even loosely, so I imagine you did a much better job than me. 😂❤

@Mrs_K_Desormeaux that is so kind of you to say!😇 I appreciate the condolences for the loss of my first Pug. He was a very special boy! 🥰😭💖 Also thank you for the vote of confidence you gave me in recreating my dog! 😅 It would be much harder to recreate my childhood dog since she was technically a mutt (Scottish Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer mix, with some other possible breeds mixed in). But some breeds have such a wide variety of coat colors that those dogs would be harder to recreate over a breed like the Pug, which has less variability. My avatar here is of the Pug that is loosely based on my first Pug. (ON the Gallery his name is Nugget and he is part of the Loomis family, if you want to download him).

Since you can't recreate your dog yourself, hopefully you can find someone who can make a decent version! 🤞 What breed or mix is your dog? 🤔
