It is a great way to say that you are hungry! @coolsim9999999 🙂
It would great at that time, to then get a grilled cheese or Mac and cheese to eat, like in the game, as sims only need one cooking skill level to be able to cook that. In real life, people that don’t have much cooking experience would be able to cook them, if it was like the game.
You know you Sim a lot when you are watching a very serious episode of a TV show when they are just about to take down some very dangerous people...they gather outside the gate with dramatic music in the background...lives are at stake...they burst through the gates...and you think oooooh! Look at that house! Rewind, rewind, pause...aargh why can't I get a good image of the house! Got it, get a photo yay!
...4 days of build mode later and no clue what happened in the rest of the episode, but I'm happy with the house lol it's nearly done!
Tv shows are a great way of getting ideas for builds! @simsplayer818 🙂 I am glad that the home was an inspiration for your build!
You know you sim a lot if you also are watching a tv show and think that some of the furnishings in the homes look like the ones that are in build mode in the Sims game.- @rosemow That's so true! I also mentally rearrange the furniture on screen while I'm watching a TV show lol.
lol, yes! 🙌 --- although, non-Simmers don't get it 🙌!
Yes, cooking skill level one for both, but also if a Sim has the grilled cheese aspiration, then, they can get an instant plate of the party size grilled cheese, or if they're a spellcaster, deliciousioso or grand deliciousioso could give them instant food! It is great that both cauldrons are grills and available to all Sims to make 12 servings of Mac n Cheese or chili that never goes bad 😎!
I'm glad that show gave you an idea for the house with which you're almost done😎!
It is funny and shows you Sim a lot because you had to rewind 🙌to get a good look at that house for building purposes --- although, the people in the show where in grave danger!
It's also funny that you don't remember the rest of that episode🙌!
@rosemow
I have build rooms from shows I see on TV on the decorating channel! Maybe a house is next 😎!I think that of furniture when I'm watching TV, too😎! That certainly shows that you Sim a lot😎!
So do I😎! Sometimes, I even try to alt or turn moo on to make it look better. I also think, 'oh no, that person forgot to "alt check" before they posted to the gallery, or 'that doesn't look playable!' That person forgot to playtest! 🙌
I also forget that IRL people can reach small appliances from a shelf or from inside the counter and actually put them on the counter instead of always having those small appliances "out! 🙌"
It would be great in real life to be able to move heavy items that we want to change to another position in the room, as easily as it is in The Sims, by going into build mode! @coolsim9999999 🙂
I wish we could have build mode to move things we can't lift!😎 I think we need to invent build mode IRL --- or close to it --- maybe have a moveable item that can move things like dumbwaiters (mechanical food elevator, which was invented in the late 1800s) in mansions used to do to move meals between floors. If we could just have build mode for closet shelves...
I just had to move a pile of moderately heavy books that were in my way to open the curtain again after the solar eclipse we had an Monday. I was busy Simming all week, so I finally got to it!😎
A dumbwaiter type item would be great to have in our home to move items @coolsim9999999 🙂
I wish I had a dumbwaiter in my house, too 😎!
You know you Sim a lot when you wish you could snap your fingers and the Sim would playtest everything autonomously because they could hear through the computer screen😎🙌!
You know you Sim a lot when you make a Sim in CAS with lots of outfits per category, and then, you remember that's not how your overnight size suitcase gets packed, and that you still have to do it 🙌!
It would be great to be able to have lots of outfits for different categories in real life and be able to fit them all in an overnight size suitcase! @coolsim9999999 🙂 It would also not be too heavy to carry the suitcase when travelling.
when you really hope you could pull that mop out of your bum!!
Been cleaning, today, lol...
I so agree! They sell those vacuum seal bags for clothes that suck the air out of them, so they take up less space. I guess that would work for an overnight suitcase! I'm taking my "weekend" suitcase because it fits my flat "toiletry organizer" that lies flat on top of everything in that size or my big suitcase for big vacations. Yes, 40 outfits - 5 for each of the 8 categories in an overnight size suitcase would be so awesome --- especially, if it could weigh almost nothing! That's what my husband is for...lol🙌!
Yeah, those weird glitches!
I hope cleaning goes fast for you today (unless you're already done.)
You know you Sim a lot when you think, "I'll just buy "speed clearner" for myself from reward traits...oh wait, IRL..🙌
I hope that you enjoy your time away and that you can fit in all that you want to, into your weekend suitcase @coolsim9999999 🙂
Thank you very much🙂! I fit everything into it! haha! 🙌
Now, time to get ready.
See everyone on Monday night! 😎
- @coolsim9999999 You know you Sim a lot when you forget travelling IRL takes longer than one loading screen and you try to locate a Selvadorada Market Stall to buy Plasma Bat Bait and a very large Guzmania Pollenis Flower when you arrive! 🚘
It would be great to travel in real life as quick as it does in the game! @simsplayer818 🙂 It would also be good to have a flower like Guamanian Pollenis Flower that prevents us from being stung by bees!
- @rosemow I agree, I'm allergic to bees and wasps and I always get masonry bees each year. I was being chased by one yesterday while chatting in the backyard and my friend was saying "There it is, no there it is!" So I wished I had a giant flower to wave around at it.🐝
The same thing happens in late summer with bats. A few years ago I was complaining I was the only one who hadn't seen one yet as I look forward to seeing them every summer. My friends were staring directly above my head and one of them said "a bat has been circling your head the whole time". Looked up and there it was! So maybe I need the plasma bat bait too ... although I'm very fond of both bees and bats I just don't want them swooping over my head lol!🦇 Yes, it does!
It shows that you Sim a lot if you're looking for anything needed in-game in the jungle! Now, if it would only work on mosquitos...🙌
