Reading Old Threads May Help Shed Light on Why Things Haven't Happened In The Game Yet

@Chicklet453681 thanks for looking up these old posts. As someone who wasn't on this forum when sims 4 started it is interesting to read.

While I understand the arguments, I am still disappointed by some of the design choices. Especially the babies. Sims were able to carry them around in sims 2 and 3, so why was it suddenly so difficult to animate when it was possible in base game of sims 2? Babies being nothing but cribs with an interaction are literally a throwback to the sims1 era. We can't even switch the crib to the better looking ones from RoM or vampires.
