I have both packs and only played Strangerville mystery once and probably won't do it again. But I do think Strangerville has more to offer (build/buy, CAS, the military career etc). vs. ROM if you're not interested in spellcasters or the strangerville mystery. I think ROM is only a great pack if you are interested in occult gameplay and spellcasters.
