Okay first couple of challenges completed, onto the next challenges when they open up. If you already have Grim moved into your game you can't just ask him for stuff, it has to be a Grim spawned in game. I tested this, I was going to have one of my Grim's daughters just use her Dad to complete the tasks, but no you have to summon a separate Grim. Bonus my Grim now has a new Grimmie friend. 😄
I thought my Grim was probably a newly spawned "clone." Thanks for sharing your experience. My sims learned our new Grim's traits were Mean, Childish, and Party Animal. 😆
