Reaper's Rewards Event: Ended

I played through this event and quite enjoyed it. Because of the gardening requirements I chose to play with a couple that already had a large garden and they once needed Ambrosia because of an unfortunate accident so figured they will be good choice. Well, my game was saved in the winter on winterfest day, so had to plant the plants in  a planter on the porch, so it turns out there was no need for the big garden after all. I basically played them as normally would just with the challenge tasks added in. As I haven't played this couple for a while I needed to add some updates to their house and gave them a couple vacuum cleaners, heaters, and a pet door for their cat which took forever to find in the catalogue.  And here's a picture of the vacuum cleaner escaping the one step porch and travelling across the yard all the way to the barn, in the snow,  to do the cleaning. Will need to raise the house another step during next play session. 😁

She received the Grim newsletter and went to pick it up and also sorted through the junk mail. 

She chased after passersby to ask them about Ambrosia. 

My sim grooming and bonding with the cat. It keeps getting sprayed by skunks and such and it's quite filthy but brings in a lot of feathers. 

Naughty cat. Had to move the chicken to the corner counter.

Next day she managed to summon Grim. Well she summoned the night before but I didn't see him and she went to bed so didn't think much of it. When she summoned Grim next morning I thought he would spawn next to her, but no, he spawned across the road in front of the lot and blend into the landscape and I almost didn't see him again. Think we need to give him some bright colours to wear. 

Here she comes to greet Grim and asks him to hang around.  

Grim agrees to hang out and goes and blends again with the landscape near the fireplace. He tries to start a fire but burns his hands and gives up. My sim then gets fed up with Grim and sends him home.

Then it was bonfire night. Tried to get my sims to have drinks with their guests by the fire (by the way, I found it's not possible to buy nectar on the computer, only on the phone) but none of them managed to start a fire in time and it was cold outside and getting late and the guests eventually left. Also, it appears that tree stump can only hold two glasses of nectar, my sim placed the rest on a not so nearby picnic table. I thought he was drinking the rest of the bottle, but I found them after the guests left. By this time simulation lag was so bad I thought the night was lost and they couldn't fulfill the traditions. 

But after those guests left, this clown person showed up and agreed hang out and to listen to stories by the fire. They finally managed to light up the darn thing. However, this person glitched my female sim and she kept appearing as an active conversation even after she had left the lot and from this point onward things kind of snowballed from one glitch to another. 

Then she decided to go off lot to shovel some snow because it was all so important. really, it couldn't wait till morning, or for spring to thaw out. That snow had to go. 😁

Next morning. My sims were wearing newly washed clothes apparently and there is a social option to sniff the fresh clothes on another sim. Well, here he is sniffing her and declared satisfied with the clean clothes smell. Too funny, I need to play couple sims more often. 😆
