I LOVE Sims 4, I personally think it's the best, game play wise, of all the games (I've played them all)
I think Island Living is the best pack in Sims 4 (maybe tied with parenthood)
I think Eco Lifestyle will be one of my new favourites, very high up on the list. I'm very excited about this pack.
I will not deny that Sims 2 has better animations than Sims 4, it just doens't matter much to me as animations don't define my game play style. But I'd love to see better ones. I want to see slow dancing again and kids dancing on parents feet. I want to see SIms look more naturally moving.
I do NOT mind recycled animations at all... WHEN they make sense.
I do NOT think that hugging a maggot makes sense... It won't stop me from liking the pack, I can't say I'd play too often with bug boxes anyways, I don't use the bees much and still love seasons... but I'd probably be more likely to play it if they didn't hug it? A new animation was needed here.
Sliding down ladders I'm not going to judge yet. They have a sorta animation they could use from IL ladders already. Making them slide makes NO sense to me but the way they cut the trailer barely showing it, makes me think that they aren't finished with them yet. The last few EP's came out a bit closer to the trailer date which makes me think this was either 1) released early because of the country fake leak and they wanted to stop that leak asap to prevent even more disappointment and the animation wasn't quite complete yet... or 2) This is tied in with some skill/trait but most sims use them normally. I just really don't see this being in the game play after release as the normal ladder animation, especially when IL sims use them normally, but if it is, it won't affect my game play or enjoyment of the pack which is why I still want the pack.
