Recycling old content and a lack of creativity in development

So Jungle Adventure just came out, and I think most of us know it recycles merchant tables and food stalls from City Living. This isn't the first time either, as Pets recycled those exact same assets....

For what it's worth, brand new animations for Sims take a lot of time and resources that could be used for other things. If you're petting something, you're petting something. We got quite a few new animations when interacting with the Hamster. NOT that this excuses the rest of the content.

If you can do something new while admittedly repurposing something else and make the new thing better as a result, then I'm cool with it.

On the other hand, recycling on behalf of a half-hearted effort is not okay.
