Furniture stores do it all the time. inside they may try to make it better but outside it will mostly look the same. but maybe better fabric, or in our case texture

Right but we only see the out side of the chair. So we don't really care if it's hypothetical inside is better. We are playing on a visual medium, the visuals matter. There are also tons of comfy chair designs,

The list goes on there isn't any shortage of inspiration to make different comfy chairs. Or are you saying we only need one chair bed sink and so on in different colors to make a good house?
I would disagree with that if you are, I like having a variety of styles to choose from and am really not ok with the same style being recycled with new colors.
