Plus ‘nothing is ever new’ isn’t even true. Even concepts that were done before can be new (pets for instance are done in different ways in the different versions, University is, Seasons is). Apparently it’s really hard to stick to the term “recycling” the OP wanted to discuss in this topic. Reusing an animation for different purposes or even the same in a next version is recycling. Reusing an identical setup/frame like in a career is recycling. Giving a certain theme a different approach is not recycling.
Well said. Recycling a piece of can into a box of yogurt is fine. However, recyclining that can again back to a can with a different paint of color or texture (especally when it's charged for MORE $$) is not, even when the yogurt has the exact taste and formula. That's the personal issue we have.

(If people can find more picture like this regarding the topic, please share it as many more as you can so we can paint a clear issue what "the big deal is"). Now I would like to know, @Stormsview, how this is considered 'creative'? I'll wait. And please don't say you believe this sort of stuff should be charged in another pack oppose to where it came from and not be patched. Besides the pattern, the sofas are both identical. Of course, this picture is just a snippet, but they're doing this to every item out there TENFOLD. Sorry If I'm bringing up to MFP SP controversy, but I wanna give you all disclaimer what happens and the consequences (as what OP exactly predicted) when you praise such practice of recyclement. Very only a few batted an eye, and thus why that disastrous stuff pack was born.
I also seen that you made a mention that we shouldn't critique developers because their creative "is a thought that counts". However, I don't think creativity doesn't always guarantee success. If some chef tried their inspiration to invent their cake, that doesn't 100% mean it's gonna be successful or live up to the chef's expectation of the customers approval to the quality standard of the edible dessert. I do encourage creative, but at the price that nontheless and regardless the baker still needs to be open to critize and endure it because his a grown man that shoudn't be wrapped by his mommy's bubble wrap because "Ohhhy, my feelings were hurt!". Don't suspect any boutique of raises or a presents just because your cake damaged by stomach and almost made me sick/nauseous. Sorry, but I don't live in this utopia of what you are dreaming about.

Well.... Nothing is ever new, really. I don't see what the big deal is as long as people are enjoying the pack....
Just to let you know, If this was a counterargument to the OP's thread, which without a doubt I agree with you, you did stood up with @DeservedCriticism and many others that are against recyclement. Some party isn't enjoying the pack due to the recyclement, and by your literal implication you do 'see what the big deal is as long people aren't enjoying the pack'. Sorry If I suspected you weren't aware of your own words/implication.
