Reddit or Tumblr?

Hey guys! I hope this is allowed -- I'm looking for community groups, challenges, memes, frequent posts and updates. My question is; is there more activity on Tumblr or Reddit? I haven't been on Tumblr in years and it seems when I got on there a lot of the content I used to follow is pretty outdated/retired.

Please feel free to post links of good pages/groups to follow on various sites! Thanks in advance!
  • Reddit has biweekly challenges, builds/CAS related. Currently they have one to rebuild a lot from any video game franchise, thought It’s about to end, though sometimes due to the mods being busy the challenge can go an extra week longer. Some people post memes as well. I visit it often, there seems to be discussion sometimes but not always
Edit: sometimes ppl post hilarious screenshots from ...mods not allowed on here, there’s more free talk there ?

  • I absolutely wouldn't go to Reddit. I started coming to this forum because if how toxic it is over there (at least in the general Sims sub). I've never seen a group of people so against anyone having a different opinion than them.

I don't know about reddit, I've never actively used it.
But I do use tumblr and it's pretty active. Lots of simmers share their gameplay and stories there. I think there are also plenty of cc creators around and I see people reblog different challenges frequently.
Of course there are a few drama llamas in the simblr community, but you can (and should) just unfollow them.
Tumblr did add group chats recently, but I haven't even looked at them. I dislike overly active channels and prefer to stick to a few smaller discord servers.

Thanks for the info! Do you have any tumblr users that you'd recommend? Especially CC and challenges
  • I just google stuff. That's how I found the Empire Challenge and the Merkland Challenge. I'm not limited to just one or two sites then. Besides I dislike TUMBLR. If you are builder Youtubers also do shell challenges. Don't limit yourself by visiting the same sites all time.
